Uninstalling Microsoft office 2010 mondo v14.0.4302.1000
A couple of months back Microsoft Office 2010 mondo beta v14.0.4302.1000 was leaked on the net and probably many of you have downloaded it.This version of Office has lot number of bugs then the version which was available to testers via MS Connect and uninstalling it was a headache.The following error is received when you try to uninstall it
You can uninstall it manually using this method http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218 or copy the setup.xml file from the groove.en-us folder of the setup file to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller\Groove.en-us\ (or to some other drive where you have installed office 2010) . If you don’t have the setup.xml file you can download it from here- http://letusknow.in/files/office2010_uninstall_setup.zip . After copying the file the uninstall from the program and features should work.
